Voicing triads in solo bass tunes and the role psychoacoustics play in developing solo bass arrangements. When arranging for solo bass, we must be mindful of the range of the instrument and play chords that are clear, well defined, and, most importantly, retain the function within the harmony. The role of the brain in defining chords and their function is something we can take full advantage of in creating solo bass arrangements.
